Patz will exhibit ceramic sculpture in the 2010 Potters Council "Fill-adelphia" exhibition at A Show of Hands Gallery in Philadelphia, Pa. March 19-April 30, 2010 in conjunction with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts.
Fowle's ceramic sculpture "Vinny Van Goat" is touring the state in the 2009-2010 South Carolina Palmetto Hands Traveling Exhibition, presented by the City of North Charleston Cultural Arts.
The Hartsville Memorial Public Library unveiled "Harry the Literary Lion" a mural in the children's reading section by SC artist Patz Fowle 2010.
Fowle studied and created contemporary art in a summer program at the National Endowment for the Arts funded Teacher Institute in Contemporary Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Patz illustrated the children's book "My Name is Buttonz" written by B. Lee Schmidt.
Fowle participated in the summer program Educators ArtLab sculpture workshop at the Kansas City Art Institute.
Patz received an award and had an oil painting published in the book "Kakalak 2009 Anthology of Carolina Poets."
Fowle received a photography award at the Carolinas II Exhibition at the Black Creek Arts Council in Hartsville, SC.
Patz exhibited at the Sumter Artists' Guild group exhibition at the Sumter Art Gallery, Sumter, SC.
Fowle led a workshop and presented the Patz Process Ceramic Technique: A South Carolina Tradition at the 2009 South Carolina art Education Association Conference.

in 1970. This innovative, straightforward clay
method has become part of the rich heritage of
American Ceramic Techniques.
Numerous examples of Fowle's works and technique
are featured in ceramic books, international periodicals, sculpture reference books and in school art text books.
